Chamber of commerce fundraiser

Selvis Morales, CMP had the wonderful opportunity to work with a Chamber of Commerce on their biggest fundraising event of the year: their annual Holiday Mixer/Silent Auction. This event attracts the chamber’s members and local small business owners to network, bid on over 60 items and sample the neighborhood’s breweries, distilleries and noshes while raising funds for the following year’s program.

In order to branch out the chamber’s reach and introduce new businesses to the its members, Selvis marketed and incorporated nonmembers with great success through a fun Neighborhood Bake-off and Cocktail Challenge by engaging the area’s small businesses (both members and nonmembers). Over 150 attendees voted for their favorite baked item and cocktail during the evening and those lucky winners were then featured in the chamber’s own eNewsletter to promote their business to its members.
